Meet Natalie Wray
For eight years, Natalie shaped brands as a graphic designer and creative director. Eventually she decided it was time to build one of her own.
She grew up near Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont, but was always drawn to the ocean. Whales and other marine life kept turning up in her sketchbooks. While studying illustration at MassArt in Boston she met her now-husband, Connor, a Newport native, and fell for the coastal town he called home.
Today she designs every Sunwray product and dyes and prints each pennant flag by hand. When she is not at the shop you will find her running the Cliff Walk, sketching at the beach, swimming well past the season, or walking her two pugs through town.
